Infections of the Eye

There are a variety of eye infections. Conjunctivitis, or “pink eye”, can be due to viruses or bacteria. Corneal infections or ulcers can result in permanent vision loss and should be diagnosed and treated by a physician as soon as possible. These conditions are considered to be medical conditions and are usually covered by medical insurance.
